3 Superstars Who Should Face Becky Lynch For NXT Championship
Becky Lynch is the new NXT Women’s Champion. She won the title by defeating Tiffany Stratton on Last Tuesday’s NXT. Becky Lynch achieved a significant milestone in her WWE career by becoming the NXT Women’s Champion, a title she had been chasing for a long time.
For many years, Lynch was the only member of the “Four Horsewomen” who hadn’t won this championship. Her peers, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Charlotte Flair, all held this title early in their careers. This title completed her Grand Slam.
Now that Becky Lynch is at the top of the NXT brand, let’s consider three potential challengers for her championship:
3) A former champion seeks WWE gold once more
Roxanne Perez is one of the rising stars in WWE today. At just 21 years old, she joined the company in 2022 and achieved remarkable success in her first year, winning tag team gold, the NXT breakout tournament, and even the NXT Women’s Championship. Perez often mentions how Becky Lynch inspired her to pursue a career in wrestling. After Lynch’s title win, Roxanne shared a photo of herself with Becky from years before she joined WWE.

Nikkita Lyons, like Roxanne Perez, is another standout talent in NXT who appears poised to lead the next generation of WWE superstars. Despite having only two years of experience before joining WWE in 2021, Lyons has quickly made a name for herself, with her signature split pin move becoming a fan favorite. While she has secured many impressive victories in the ring, the women’s championship has remained out of her reach. Although Lyons has been sidelined with a knee injury for most of 2023, she recently teased her return to the ring on social media.

Zoey Stark has been a persistent thorn in Becky Lynch’s side throughout 2023. While the feud between Stratus and Lynch seems to have concluded, Stark, who never held singles gold during her NXT days, may be looking to get even with The Man once more.
