1 years ago By Sports Desk

At WWE Payback WWE kicked off its Childhood Cancer Awareness Month campaign led by Superstars Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair. Cody and Bianca visited the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to help patients and their families during treatment before tickets went on sale for WrestleMania 40 last month. Along with other WWE Superstars, the couple will visit hospitals across the country during September.

►9th WWE campaign against childhood cancer

As in previous years, the WWE Universe will have the opportunity to purchase Connor’s Cure merchandise at WWEShop.com, with 100% of WWE’s net profits going to childhood cancer research.

Through Fanatics, WWE will also be auctioning off a robe signed by Cody Rhodes and a custom WWE title signed by Cody and Bianca (starting September 18). This September, use your passions and talents to design your fundraiser to benefit Connor’s Cure, a WWE initiative benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

The top four fundraisers will receive the opportunity to meet and greet exclusively with Cody Rhodes* or Bianca Belair* before a show and tickets to a WWE show in a city of your choice.

Each fundraiser will have the opportunity to participate in the meeting with Cody Rhodes* or Bianca Belair* for a maximum of 4 people and, although travel and accommodation expenses are not included, having helped a cause will always be remembered. as important as the fight against childhood cancer.

WWE also wanted to point out that the following PLE are excluded from the shows that you could attend for free: Royal Rumble, Money In The Bank, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. All winners must redeem their meet and greet before September 1, 2024.

Over the years, WWE has raised awareness and much-needed funds for childhood cancer research, always being at the forefront of this fight since creating the Connor’s Cure Foundation in 2014 after Connor “The Crusher” Michalek, 8 years old and WWE fan, lost the battle against cancer. Through a partnership between WWE and the V Foundation, to date, Connor’s Cure has raised over $4.5 million to fund research scholarships and provide assistance to families.
