AEW Rampage Preview And Prediction: When And Where To Watch In USA & India – 27th October 2023

1 years ago By Sports Desk

The wrestling world is set to be ablaze once again as AEW Rampage prepares to roll out an action-packed episode this Friday. Fans are still reeling from the high-octane drama that unfolded during AEW Dynamite in Philadelphia, which set the stage for what promises to be an unmissable Rampage.

The past Wednesday on DYNAMITE, the wrestling universe witnessed a historic moment as “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair made a surprise appearance, aligning himself with the legendary Sting. In a shocking turn of events, TNT Champion Christian Cage threw down the gauntlet, challenging Sting to a match at FULL GEAR 2023. This epic confrontation has set the wrestling community abuzz, eagerly anticipating what’s to come.

The night also marked the DYNAMITE debut of Kazuchika Okada, who joined forces with Orange Cassidy to take on The BCC. Despite a valiant effort, Orange Cassidy fell victim to Claudio, who pinned him to earn a championship fight in the following week. This loss certainly adds another layer of intrigue and anticipation as we head into Rampage.

Turning our attention to Rampage, the card for this week’s episode has been unveiled, promising a night filled with intense rivalries and high-stakes drama. The wrestling world will be watching closely as AEW World Champion MJF and Kenny Omega engage in a can’t-miss segment, setting the stage for their title clash at AEW Collision on October 28.

In what promises to be a highly emotional encounter, former tag team champions and best friends, Santana and Ortiz, will be locking horns inside the squared circle. This marks their first face-off since their split in August at AEW All In. The two have enjoyed a storied career, clinching Tag Team Championships across numerous wrestling promotions. They have been an inseparable force as Proud & Powerful since the inception of All Elite Wrestling. However, following Santana’s injury at Blood & Guts 2022, their paths diverged. Now, for the first time in AEW, they find themselves on opposite sides of the ring, adding an extra layer of intrigue to this already explosive match-up.

In the women’s division, a blockbuster Four-Way bout is set to determine the next challenger for Hikaru Shida’s AEW Women’s World Championship. Abadon makes her return to AEW competition, facing off against Skye Blue, Willow Nightingale, and Anna Jay. Having been sidelined since June, Abadon will be looking to shake off any ring rust and prove she is ready to reclaim her spot at the top. However, with less than twenty-four hours to prepare for a title fight against Shida, the winner of this bout will have their work cut out for them. Shida, on the other hand, will be coming off a grueling championship fight earlier in the week, raising questions about her physical condition heading into this title defense.

The third match on the card sees two of AEW’s rising stars, Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita, going head-to-head in singles action. Fletcher has been on a rampage since Mark Davis’ injury, taking on top stars like Omega and Bryan Danielson. Takeshita, on the other hand, has been making waves in his own right, recently teaming up with Fletcher against Omega and Chris Jericho. However, following their loss, Don Callis had some harsh words for Fletcher, accusing him of letting the team down and referring to him as a “scab worker.” These harsh words have certainly added fuel to the fire, setting the stage for an intense showdown between Fletcher and Takeshita.

So, where and when can fans catch all the action? In the United States, AEW Rampage airs on TNT at 10:00 PM Eastern Time. Indian fans can tune into the action on Fite TV at 7:30 AM IST on Saturday. No matter where you are, this is an episode of AEW Rampage you won’t want to miss. With high-stakes matches, intense rivalries, and the promise of non-stop action, Friday night is set to be a rollercoaster ride of epic proportions.
