Bully Ray: “I Would 1000% Sign CM Punk For Impact”

1 years ago By Sports Desk

Former WWE Champion CM Punk, as suggested by the gladiator himself, is still tied to AEW by an anti-competitive clause. After his dismissal almost a month ago. In theory, he will be a free agent in November, and, also suggested by Punk himself, he could appear at Survivor Series 2023.

WWE would be the most logical next step for Punk, although some time ago it was ensured that both parties would never work together again. Consequently, speculating on certain options, such as Impact Wrestling, enters the realm of almost fantasy. However, it seems that the former TNA is hopeful that Punk, in an outburst, decides to sign with his, remembering his famous visit last April. This was revealed by Mike Johnson from PWInsider days ago.

“Among other promotions, we heard that Impact Wrestling was very excited about the possibility of Punk working there, but I don’t know if it would be a long-term option.”

We will have to wait until November, it seems, to find out CM Punk’s next step within the wrestling industry (assuming that he will continue to be active). Meanwhile, Bully Ray does not hesitate to throw the cane in front of the microphones of Busted Open Radio.

“I would sign it, 1000%. I think Punk needs to be in an environment where he is completely comfortable. And I have it on good authority that he was not completely comfortable in WWE and then, whatever happened, in AEW.

” If they put CM Punk in Impact Wrestling, Impact would revalue itself … I think Impact and Punk could do very good business together and attract attention to the product.”

Next month, Impact will return to Cicero Stadium in Cicero (Illinois, USA) to present Bound For Glory and hold television tapings there. CM Punk’s anti-competitive clause would remain in force, but the “Best in the World” could once again pay a visit backstage.
