Chad Mendes’ “Jacked” Avatar Sends MMA Twitter Abuzz At BKFC Weigh-In

1 years ago By Jhon Woug

Now this sent quite a commotion on MMA Twitter when Chad Mendes, the former UFC title contender, was captured weighing in for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), and all of that saw a video that went viral. In the clip mentioned earlier, people’s interpretation of Mendes’ tremendous muscular design was found in the statements of fans and commentators.

In 2018, however, he had already made the decision to retire after losing to his opponent Alexander Volkanovski in a second-round TKO. But his subsequent preference to go back to the combat sports arena with BKFC heaped many from left, right, and centre by surprise. While away from sport for three years, former UFC title challenger hit the news, focusing on bare-knuckle boxing.

Humans Also Conversed The Blackout Recreation Scene Mendes’ Pleasure Returned. While his noticeably bulked appearance stoked heated discussion, the possibility that he might have resorted to the use of PEDs for impressive physical transformation never escaped the vocal Twitter users.

Build was released from the sweaty bulk of Chad Mendes into comically revised captions, poured by certain users who nicknamed him “BareRoid Chad Mendes,” distinguishing that Mendes still got them from building blocks. There were also some commentators that mentioned the lack of USADA regulations in BKFC, suggesting that it could have played a role in Mendes’ change in body shape.

As some fans retained a friendly tone in their communication, others expressed genuine concerns about the potential use of superior drugs in such sports as mixed martial arts. In the process of adding references to specific compounds like trenbolone and jokes about Mendes’ size, it only made intense rumours around his physical state even more vivid.

However interesting Mendes seemed when he appeared, his stay at BKFC did not last long. He entered the organisation at BKFC. Most recently, he participated in KnuckleMania 2 and won with a fourth-round TKO against Joshuah Alvarez, but he was defeated via split decision against Eddie Alvarez at BKFC 41.

Referring to his loss, Mendes decided to retire from combat sports for the second time. His intention to resign was to ensure that he concentrated on other business endeavours and spent quality time with his family. BKFC President David Feldman gave an indication that a comeback was possible in 2024, although it appeared like Mendes was set on leaving combative behind for better this time around.

Although Chad Mendes had a poor impact on BKFC, this should be viewed as a euphonic message that ups and downs are a part of combat sports. His return was greatly anticipated by fans but caused a short-lived, disappointing failure. However, Mendes choice to pursue family ahead of fighting careers and venture into other non-combat projects demonstrates his commendable virtues and priorities.

Two years ago, Mendes proved he was willing to go down in weight class and fight in another organisation. After his stint at BKFC, people still argue about his physical condition. Although many believe that disciplined training and steadfast dedication are the formula for this alleged success, others cast doubt on the methods athletes use to attain it.

The impression of Chad Mendes’ muscular avatar at the BKFC weigh-in is so unforgettable that, despite one’s side of the argument on this matter, nobody will dispute the fact that this muscular avatar left profound footsteps in the MMA community for life. Time alone will tell if it becomes a warning or proves to be a representative example of modern combat reality. Nevertheless, while the view will disappear from the fans’ sight over time, the notion of seeing Mendes in the ring will retain some recollection for a period of time.
