Jade Cargill Says She Wants To Be ‘Hall Of Famer’ In WWE

1 years ago By Sports Desk

Jade Cargill, WWE’s newest big signing, recently gave a sneak peek into her highly anticipated debut in the company.

Cargill’s journey in wrestling began with WWE in 2019 when she underwent tryouts at the Performance Center, receiving guidance from the legendary Mark Henry.

However, her professional wrestling career took off in 2020 when she joined AEW. There, she had the chance to collaborate with Cody Rhodes and after some time Jade eventually captured the TBS Championship & remained undefeated for nearly three years & was prominently featured as one of the key figures in AEW.

She was even the highlight athlete at the network’s upfronts for the past two years while establishing herself as one of AEW’s most dominant champions.

Despite her accomplishments in AEW, Cargill believed that the next level of stardom awaited her in WWE. To solidify her legacy in the wrestling world, she knew she needed to face today’s wrestling greats like Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

After numerous rumors circulated about her joining WWE, the company officially confirmed the news on Twitter.

In a recent interview with ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, Jade Cargill was asked about her debut plans and whether it would be on NXT or the main roster.

Cargill replied that she wants fans to stay tuned to every WWE show and speculate where she might make her first appearance. She hinted that it could be on NXT, RAW, or SmackDown. She stated, “It’s all set, and guess what, everyone will have to tune in to every network to see where I land. That’s my goal—to keep people guessing about my destination. Just stay tuned,” Cargill emphasized.

In another recent interview on The Masked Man Show with David Shoemaker and Kazeem Famuyide, Jade Cargill expressed her ambition to build a lasting legacy by earning a place in the WWE Hall of Fame. She firmly believes that there’s no bigger stage than WWE to achieve this goal.

“I aspire to leave a legacy. I dream of being inducted into the Hall of Fame and competing against the best women in the world. There’s no grander platform than WWE. The opportunities are boundless here. Joining this company was an obvious choice for me. It felt welcoming, and I had no second thoughts. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one,” Cargill shared.

Cargill acknowledged the pivotal role played by Cody Rhodes, who had brought her to AEW in 2020, in convincing her to leap Tony Khan’s promotion to WWE. Cargill saw Rhodes as a role model for those contemplating a transition from AEW to WWE, especially after his return at WrestleMania 38 in 2022. “He is an exceptional individual,” Cargill praised Rhodes. “I witnessed the impact this business had on him, and I saw him excel as an athlete. I didn’t envision it any differently for myself. He was one of the guiding lights in my decision.”

Despite her high-profile move to WWE, Jade Cargill openly admitted that she still has room for improvement, particularly as an in-ring performer. She’s committed to putting in extensive hours at the WWE Performance Center to distinguish herself in a highly competitive women’s division.

“You can always count on Jade because I’m destined for stardom,” Cargill emphasized. “I’ll stay focused and work tirelessly. I’m a dedicated worker, and that’s my identity. Ultimately, my star quality is undeniable, as is my in-ring performance. I aim to become a household name—that’s my goal.”

To achieve household-name status, Cargill recognizes the need to compete against WWE’s biggest stars, many of whom have already reached the heights she aspires to. She’s ready to take on top talents from the get-go, stating, “Nia Jax, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair—I want to face them all. I’m here to take over and carve out my legacy. Whoever wants to challenge me is welcome.”

In addition to her desire to square off against WWE’s elite, Cargill plans to make the most of WWE’s world-class training facility, something she believes she couldn’t fully utilize in AEW.

“The sheer number of repetitions, top-notch coaching, and the best training facility worldwide—this system can elevate my game,” Cargill expressed regarding her transition to WWE. “I’m not in this business out of necessity. I could go home and be just fine. I’m here because I’m hungry, I’m passionate about what I do, and I want to establish a legacy for myself, my daughter, and my family. Money isn’t my motivation; this comes from the heart.”

Following the announcement of her signing, Cargill was seen putting in the work at WWE’s Performance Center, determined to enhance her skills as a performer. It remains uncertain whether she will debut on “WWE NXT” or head straight to the main roster. Nonetheless, WWE fans can anticipate seeing “That B–ch” in action very soon.

Furthermore, fans are eagerly awaiting Jade Cargill’s WWE debut and are hoping to see her face off against talents like Bianca Belair or Rhea Ripley. It’s a matter of anticipation to discover WWE’s plans for this emerging superstar.
