WWE Raw Sets To Take Place On January 01st 2024

1 years ago By Sports Desk

WWE has confirmed the first show of the year 2024. On January 1, a new episode of Monday Night Raw will take place from the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA. This event will coincide with the new year and will be an opportunity for local fans to celebrate the first day of 2024.

WWE has not given many details about the show, although the venue’s official website has confirmed “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Seth “Freakin” Rollins. In addition, the official WWE website has confirmed the presence of women’s world champion Rhea Ripley, Intercontinental champion Gunther and tag team champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

here were doubts as to whether WWE wanted to return to the Day 1 model, a PPV event that premiered in 2022 and was held on the first day of the year. It was a new concept by Nick Khan that was not repeated, although January 1, 2023, fell on a Sunday. However, at that time WWE had already changed its premium event model to be held on Saturday nights.

In addition to the premium events Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania, WWE has confirmed a few dates for the year 2024. In addition to the San Diego show, the company has confirmed another Monday Night Raw show on January 29 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, an event that will be held two days after the Royal Rumble.
