WWE Superstar Gunther Considers Charlotte Flair and IYO SKY to join him for Imperium

Gunther

In an exclusive interview, WWE Intercontinental Champion, Gunther, mentioned two of the industry’s most influential female stars as potential additions to his faction, Imperium. This comes on the back of the group’s recent move to RAW in the 2023 WWE Draft and ongoing feuds with WWE superstars like Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle. Gunther, along with his current Imperium allies Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser, has been a force to be reckoned with in the WWE.

Gunther Names Potential Female Additions to Imperium

Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Riju Dasgupta, Gunther made it clear that, while he is content with the current lineup of Imperium, the addition of certain women wrestlers could enhance the stable’s strength and influence. The names he brought up were none other than the high-flying IYO SKY, and the 14-time Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair.

“We get asked often if we want additional members or something. I think no, we’re good how we are. I think if we have to choose someone I think it would either be IYO or Charlotte, I would think,” Gunther shared.

IYO SKY and Charlotte Flair: Assets to Imperium?

Both the women Gunther mentioned have made considerable waves in the world of WWE. IYO SKY, the recent winner of the Women’s Money in the Bank contract, now possesses the power to challenge for a world title at any time she chooses. Her spectacular victory and the impending title challenge make her an exciting contender for Imperium’s possible expansion.

Charlotte Flair, on the other hand, is a legendary name in the industry, already one of the most decorated wrestlers in WWE history. A 14-time Women’s Champion, Flair’s experience, wrestling prowess, and flair for the dramatic would certainly add a new dimension to Imperium’s villainous image.

What Lies Ahead for Imperium?

After the group’s switch to RAW from SmackDown in the WWE Draft 2023, Imperium has proven its mettle by engaging in thrilling feuds with some of the biggest names in the WWE. However, the prospect of adding either IYO SKY or Charlotte Flair to their lineup could change the group’s dynamic and potentially establish Imperium as a dominating force in both the men’s and women’s divisions of WWE.

While there are no definitive plans for the expansion of Imperium as of now, Gunther’s statements have stirred speculation among WWE fans. Will we see IYO SKY or Charlotte Flair join forces with the European trio? Only time will tell what the future holds for these WWE superstars and for Imperium.

One thing is certain: whether it expands or not, Imperium will continue to be a force to be reckoned with in the WWE universe.
