3 Reasons Why Becky Lynch Will Win The NXT Women’s Title

1 years ago By Sports Desk

A few weeks ago, Tiffany Stratton made a statement on NXT television. She promised to become a superior NXT women’s champion compared to Becky Lynch. This was interesting because Becky Lynch had never held the NXT women’s championship, as many, including Becky herself, pointed out.

Initially, it might not have been planned, but WWE quickly turned it into a storyline. The two of them have been trading words over this issue. However, Becky Lynch was occupied with her rivalry against Trish Stratus, so any suggestion of her pursuing the title she had never won had to be postponed.

Now, after Payback and Becky’s victory over Stratus in a Steel Cage match in Pittsburgh, Stratton was once again in the arena, hinting at a potential match.

Becky Lynch is undoubtedly one of the greatest female professional wrestlers in modern WWE history. She boasts a successful career, having won the world championship six times and the tag team championship once. She has held all the major titles in the women’s division on the main roster and earned the distinction of being the Women’s Triple Crown Champion.

Despite these achievements, there’s one title missing from her collection – the NXT Women’s Championship. This gap in her resume has prevented her from achieving the status of a Grand Slam champion.

Here are three reasons why she might defeat Tiffany Stratton and become the new NXT Women’s Champion:

1) The Only Title Missing

It wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Becky Lynch successfully defends her NXT title against the athletic Stratton. Commentators often highlight that this is the one championship she hasn’t won in her career, and it’s true according to the records. This is the only title preventing her from achieving a Grand Slam.

2) NXT Needs Star Power in the Women’s Division

Becky “The Man” Lynch could not only win the title but also bring her star power to NXT. This move would benefit the relatively inexperienced women’s division by providing them with a seasoned veteran to learn from. While Dana Brooke might be attempting a similar role, she doesn’t possess the same level of star power as Lynch. “Big Time Becks” would undoubtedly attract more attention to the NXT product.

3) Competing with AEW in the Ratings

Bryan Alvarez, speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, mentioned that Becky Lynch’s return to NXT is part of WWE’s strategy to outperform AEW Dynamite in the 18-49 demographic.

Bryan Alvarez stated,

“They’re going all in next week for WWE NXT. They’re determined to beat AEW Dynamite in the 18-49 demographic.”

These are the reasons why we believe Becky Lynch will win the NXT Women’s Title tonight. Would you like to see Becky Lynch as the NXT Women’s Champion? Share your thoughts in the comments.
